I'm Karl, the person behind Rolling in Gigglez. I wanted to share my story because I think it matters.
I'm 37 years old and I'm terminally ill. Between the good days and the bad days, I needed something to keep my hands and mind busy — something that felt meaningful. That's how I started making wooden rolling tools, originally just for myself.
I've been a toker for 14 years. I'm also a recovering alcoholic, so I understand better than most what it means to find something that works for you and brings a bit of calm and joy into your life. For me, crafting these tools by hand fills that gap. It's my hobby, my therapy, and now my little business.
Rolling in Gigglez was born out of passion, not profit. Every tool I make is crafted with care, because I know exactly what it feels like to want something that's made properly — something you can be proud to use.
